However, that vision looked flawed after he failed to impress in the opening game against Bangladesh. Even Sree seemed to have lost hope. On the day of the semifinal the 28-year-old had tweeted: "Whatever is happening is for a reason. Whatever is gonna happen (sic) is for a reason. Just keep working hard. However, after Ashish Nehra's injury, MS Dhoni hinted he could play as the third seamer despite his brittle temperament. "The only person who can control (his emotions) Sreesanth is Sreesanth," Dhoni said. "He gets excited when it comes to big games, so if he is playing he will be in a good frame of mind."
