Govinda, who was in Delhi to promote his film Do Knot Disturb, was in no mood to get "disturbed" by the tough queries. In fact when the questions fell short, his witty 'many-liners' filled the vacuum, reports Parmita Uniyal.
He looks straight into your eyes the moment he enters the scene. That's what seems to be his motto - entering into your
heart with his smiling eyes. Govinda who was in Delhi to promote his film Do Knot Disturb was in no mood to get "disturbed" by the tough queries. Instead when the questions fell short, his witty 'many-liners' filled the vacuum.
That's Govinda for you! Always with a bag of quotable quote and never-ending gupshup that eases any feeling of unfamiliarity.
His cameradie with David Dhawan reminds one of Kadar Khan-Govinda chemistry (Remember films like Coolie No 1 and Dulhe Raja). Both of them throw witty remarks at each other, like arrows.
When someone compliments Govinda on his weight loss, the actor beams, but adds naughtily pointing towards David Dhawan, "Lekin ye patla nahi hua."
But what Govinda likes the best about Dhawan is his innocence. "He becomes so excited that he literally jumps into the shot."
The actor is generous with his praise for his two co-stars as well. "Lara Dutta is a lucky co-star for me. I think she has become lady David Dhawan for me (he laughs..Lara blushes)."
Govinda is also hopeful about Riteish and touts him as the future superstar. "Riteish has the qualities to become superstar."
The comedy king says that the current trend in Bollywood is comedy. But also says that it might change in the future. "Instead of hard-core action films, I forsee entertainment-action flicks working at the box-office."
We also forsee you smashing heads in a film and then breaking into a jig...
