Six days after the murder of Sheena Bora, her grandparents changed their will, bequeathing most of their properties, which were earlier assigned to Sheena, to her brother Mikhail, as they disapproved of Sheena’s relationship with Peter Mukerjea’s son Rahul.

Six days after the murder of Sheena Bora, her grandparents changed their will, bequeathing most of their properties, which were earlier assigned to Sheena, to her brother Mikhail, as they disapproved of Sheena’s relationship with Peter Mukerjea’s son Rahul.

A copy of the will is part of the CBI charge sheet, which HT has accessed.

Sheena’s mother Indrani, Indrani’s former husband Sanjeev Khanna and her driver Shyamwar Rai allegedly killed Sheena on April 24, 2012. Durgaranee Bora, Sheena’s grandmother, prepared a fresh will on April 30, 2012, stating her earlier will, dating November 4, 2009 has been revoked.

“Due to some recent developments in the nature of marriage of my granddaughter Sheena Bora ( with Rahul), without our knowledge and consent, and the fact that she has left us alone with my husband and my grandson Mikhail Bora and has decided to settle with her husband, therefore, I do here by revoke/cancel my previous will, which was executed on 4th of November, 2009,” read the will, executed on April 30, 2012.

It was alleged that Durgaranee had earlier bequeathed most part of her property to Sheena.

“Out of love and affection and for the consideration of support/ looking us (Smt Durgaranee Bora and UK Bora, in our old age), have decided to bequeath the entire two storeyed semi-RCC building to my grandson Mikhail Bora, as we do not have any connection nor any support (neither financial nor moral) from our granddaughter Miss Sheena Bora after her marriage,” read the will.

However, even after several differences and disagreements, Sheena’s grandparents decided to leave some part of their assets for Sheena.

“Although my granddaughter has left us, I have decided to bequeath the two Assam type houses to my granddaughter Miss Sheena Bora,” read the fresh will.
