What kind of development do you envision for the Ratlam-Jhabua parliamentary constituency? How long will it take to implement them?

A urea-manufacturing plant will be set up in Bamania with government help, shortly, which will boost the area’s industrial development and generate employment. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan wants the area to develop as hub of vegetable production. My priority will be to see it through. My other priority will be to set up food processing plants so that farmers get due prices for their produce.

How will the Petlawad blast that claimed more than 80 lives on September 12 impact the by-elections? Congress has charged BJP with shielding the accused.

The CM spent more than two days in the area and did everything to redress grievances, complaints. It will not have any impact on the by-elections. As for the Congress, its job is to tell lies.

On what grounds are you claiming victory?

People have seen development in the area due to the efforts of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan. People voted for my father, late Dilip Singh Bhuria in the 2014 general elections on this very basis. I want to complete my father’s remaining works. People know this and I’m certain that I will win with a huge margin.

The Congress has raised the issue of reservation and said that it fears that BJP may scrap reservation. What do you have to say to this?

The Congress has no issues to raise, which is why it is misleading people. All our party leaders, including PM Narendra Modi, have made it clear that reservation will not be scrapped.
