STEP 1: MAKE CHENNA

The first step is to make the chenna or the cheese. To do this, you will need full-fat milk. Boil the milk and add a few drops of lemon juice or vinegar to it. The acidity will cause the milk to curdle. Once the milk is curdled, it is ready to be strained. Strain the mixture using a muslin cloth and squeeze out all the water.

STEP 2: KNEAD CHENNA, MAKE SMALL BALLS

Once the chenna is ready, it is time to make the rasgullas. Knead the chenna well until it is smooth and then roll it into small balls. Make sure that the balls are not too big or too small as they will not turn out right.

STEP 3: COOKING RASGULLAS IN SUGAR SYRUP

The next step is to cook the rasgullas. Take a pot and fill it with water. Add sugar to the water and bring it to a boil. Once the sugar syrup is boiling, add the rasgullas one by one. Simmer the rasgullas for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, turn off the heat and let the rasgullas rest for about an hour.

STEP 4: SERVE THEM

Once the rasgullas have cooled down, you can enjoy them. Serve them with a dollop of cream or with a drizzle of honey. The soft, spongy rasgullas are sure to be a hit among your family and friends.

Making rasgullas at home is not as hard as it seems. With a few simple ingredients and a bit of patience, you can make delicious rasgullas at home. So, the next time you have a craving for this sweet delight, try making it at home.
