Biker molests 21-year-old college student in Mumbai
The incident occurred around 6am on the Madh Marve road in Dharavli area when the woman was on her way to college
An unidentified biker who allegedly molested a 21-year-old woman in Malad (West) on Tuesday morning has been booked by police officials at the Malwani station. A first information report (FIR) was filed under section 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code.
The incident occurred around 6am on the Madh Marve road in Dharavli area when the woman was on her way to college. She was walking towards the bus stop, when the bike-borne approached from behind, grabbed her hand and demanded sexual favours.
According to the complaint, the woman was enraged and asked him to leave but the accused pulled her towards him. The 21-year-old raised an alarm and when a passer-by stopped to help, the biker sped away. The women noted down the registration number of the two-wheeler.
After the woman narrated the incident to her parents, they approached the police station and filed a complaint the next day.

The accused then followed her around, without her knowledge. When she was about to enter her housing society, he approached her again and groped her before speeding away.
