One stage, many tunes: WORME Festival back to rock the capital
The second edition of the WORME festival will feature many musical genres like rock, blues, jazz, fusion, metal and electronic.
In an attempt to showcase Indian talent across different genres in music, the WORME Festival is back in the Capital with its second edition. WORME, an acronym for World of Rock, Metal and Electronica, is a multi-genre festival that aims to provide a platform to independent musicians across India to showcase their musical talent.

The fest this year will see genres such as rock, blues, jazz, fusion, metal and electronic. “The fans of live music will find this event a great musical treat for them,” says Michael Khanna from Wondermind, which is the organiser of the festival.
The first day of the festival will see four bands from four zones across India competing for the top position. However, there will also be performances by some big names from the Indian music industry. The line up includes Raghu Dixit, Them Clones, Menwhopause, Boom Baba, Vaeya, The Circus, Kohra, Devoid, Zygnema, Undefined Dimension, Skrypt, among a total of 30 artists. “It feels brilliant to be playing at this festival. It is an opportunity to share the stage with so many other known musicians,” says Arsh Sharma, the founding member of The Circus.
From Delhi, alternative band — The Uncertainty Principle, will be competing for the top prize along with Ashes in Flames (Kolkota), The Beatroute (Mumbai) and Perpetual Void (Hyderabad). “Worme Fest is a great platform for upcoming bands like ours, as it provides us a chance to demonstrate our love for music and display our skills as a band to the audience in Delhi,” says Raghav Meattle, vocalist of The Uncertainty Principle.
