Rock Veda, a progressive fusion band may be one of the several bands in the country playing fusion music, but what sets this group apart is their purpose of creating music.

“We want to create awareness about the power of classical music among youngsters. We thus mix creative contemporary with classical tunes and ragas and create progressive fusion which is the most preferred genre among the younger generation of music lovers today,” says Kabul Rishi, the vocalist of the band.

Formed in 2009, the band has to its credit, several performances, the latest being a gig at the high-profile Jaipur Literature Festival. “I am from Jaipur and it felt amazing to perform there.
