Be it the shiny sherwani that he wore on stage, or the fact that he danced to Bollywood numbers — right from Dev Anand’s iconic number Dum Maro Dum to Subha Hone Na De from Desi Boyz — the performance was high on the Indian quotient.I love India, said the rapper, putting in words what his actions were already showing. He also belted out the feat that he had sung for the title track of the Bollywood film Singh is Kinng.

Besides the filmi numbers, Snoop performed a host of his own hits, including, Sensual Seduction, Gangsta Luv and Young and Wild and Free, as the 4000-strong audience lapped up every bit of what the 41-year-old dished out. Snoop was also mobbed by fans when he checked into The Oberoi, Gurgaon, before the concert. It has been a dream to watch him play live and I am so excited to see him today, said Shashwat Gupta, a 24-year-old fan. And though the stands had scanty numbers, the VIP seats were choc-o-bloc, indicating clearly that Delhi wanted to catch Snoop, up and close.

We spotted entrepreneur Robert Vadra with his son Rehan, enjoying the concert. Both father and son seemed to be big fans of the rapper and were seen taking pictures of the artist on their phone. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was however not present at the show.
