District administration will register cases against those running illegal parking lots in Noida
The district administration has decided to crack down on illegal parking lots and a case will be registered against those found running them.

Cases against those causing public nuisance will be registered in the office of City Magistrate, Noida.
The decision was taken at the first weekly public grievance meeting held under the chairmanship of district magistrate BN Singh on Wednesday evening.
To streamline traffic system in the city, the district transport department and traffic police will prepare a plan to act against the plying of illegal e-rickshaws in the city and submit the same in a week.
After having a detailed discussion on the parking facilities across the city, it was decided that the 41 authorised parking lots run by the Noida authority will be managed as per the laid down norms. All parking lots will have the name of the contractor, their mobile numbers and the capacity to accommodate vehicles displayed properly on site. If any vehicles is found exceeding the capacity of the parking lot mentioned on the display board, action will be taken against the contractor by the district administration, the DM said.
It was also decided that the Noida authority will give the details of the unauthorised parking lots in the city before the next weekly meeting to the district administration. On the basis of the report by the Noida authority, the district administration will act against offenders running illegal parking lots under section 133 of the Criminal Procedure Code, said Singh.
The district magistrate also said that the city magistrate and police will hold a meeting with the industrialists to streamline parking in industrial areas over the next 15 days.
Singh said it was also decided at the meeting that the Noida authority will submit a report on encroachments that not only cause congestion, but also inconvenience residents to the district administration.

Besides removing encroachments, the district administration will also register a case under Section 133 of the CrPC against the offenders.
Love Kumar, senior superintendent of police, AK Singh, superintendent of police (city), Mahender Singh, city magistrate, Dr Anurag Bhargav, chief medical officer and Rajesh Kumar Singh, deputy chief executive officer of the Noida authority were also present at the meeting.
