Several parts of north India on Tuesday morning were covered in a thick blanket of fog with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting similar conditions to continue for the next few days. The thick blanket of fog has lead to poor visibility in several cities. According to data recorded on Tuesday morning at 5:30 am, the visibility in Delhi's Palam area was just 25 metres, while in Safdarjung, it was 50 metres.(ANI)

IMD has also issued a yellow alert until December 23 - forecasting moderate to dense fog to continue in Delhi. While dense fog is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, moderate to dense fog is expected on Thursday.(ANI)
