Ram Charan is the son of actor Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha Konidala. He was born on March 27, 1985. He maried Upasana in 2012. The couple welcomed their daughter Klin Kaara last year. He made his acting debut with Chirutha in 2007. Ram is not only an actor but a producer and entrepreneur as well. He primarily works in Telugu cinema.

The film's story revolves around an IAS officer who strives to combat corrupt politicians by advocating for fair elections to transform the way government works. Shankar has directed the film.
