Artists give final touch to Durga idols

- The fervour and festivity surrounding Durga Pooja and Navratri started with Mahalaya on October 6. Artists in Kolkata and all over India are giving final touches to the idols of Goddess Durga before they are taken to their respective houses and pandals.

The festival of Navratri will be observed from October 7 till October 15. This year Ashtami falls on October 13 while Dashami is on October 15. In this still, an artist gives final touches to an idol of Goddess Durga for the Durga Puja celebration, in Patna.(PTI)
