Ayodhya breaks Ujjain’s record by lighting over 15 lakh earthen lamps | In Pics

- Ayodhya broke Ujjain’s record and also its own previous ones on Sunday when 15.76 lakh (1.57 million) earthen lamps were lit at Ram Ki Paidi and other ghats on the Saryu riverbank on Deepotsav, on the eve of Diwali. This record was created in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who congratulated chief minister Yogi Adityanath on the achievement. The Ayodhya administration had set a Guinness world record by lighting 9,41,551 diyas at the Deepotsav in 2021.
