"We are yet to reopen because there are a lot of modalities. The board classes are nearing their exams so the attendance is going to be thin. Also, providing transport for students is difficult, so we are still working out the details. We will have a plan in two days," the vice-principal of a top private school said.(PTI )

“There will be no return to normalcy till there is an option of online classes. Online learning has saturated for children but since there is an option they or their parents prefer online. Attendance has been low when schools briefly reopened in previous months," Ella Joshi, a teacher at a top private school was quoted by saying news agency ANI.(HT Photo/Vipin Kumar)

“Another issue is of transportation, since not many students turn up, running full-fledged transport services is not feasible and lack of transport discourages few from attending offline classes as its not logistically feasible,” Joshi added.(HT Photo/Vipin Kumar)
