Dussehra or Vijayadashami - the concluding day of the Durga Puja festival - has arrived. Throughout the ten days of the festival, ‘Ramlila’, fairs, Puja pandal, and Garba are part of the revelry as the festival is celebrated with much pomp and show across India. The final day of Dussehra brings long-awaited tradition to burn the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhkaran and son Meghnad. ‘Ravan Dahan’ - a symbol of triumph of good over evil is celebrated as devotees remember Lord Rama, an incarnation of Hindu God Vishnu, and the epic Ramayana. As the scare of coronavirus takes a pause, this year's Dusshera can be seen brimming with people's jubliant spirit after two years.
