The Indian Army Wednesday shared glimpses of its ongoing ‘Exercise Khanjar 2023’ - the joint military operation conducted annually with Kyrgyzstan, in a bid to boost defence cooperation between the two nations. This year marks the 10th edition of the joint special forces military training which commenced at Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan last Tuesday, the army said. “The exercise will further enhance the synergy and interoperability between special forces of two armies,” it noted the importance of the operation. Apart from defence ties, the two nations have cooperated on several fronts, including India's high impact projects for community development in the Central Asian country for which a $200-million line of credit was annnounced in 2021.
