Grieving relatives of the Thailand massacre victims gathered at the child day care centre in Thailand on Friday where a day earlier a former policeman had slain 34 people in a knife and gun rampage that horrified the nation. At least 24 of the 36 people killed in the shooting were children, aged between two and five years.(AFP)

Kampar had reportedly gone to the daycare centre to collect his child after attending a court session earlier in the day, police spokesperson Paisal Luesomboon told broadcaster ThaiPBS.
