Sukhbir who was accompanying SAD candidate Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa as the latter filed his nomination papers from Sangrur parliamentary constituency, said, “Capt Amarinder does not have time for Punjab, as he has to mark his attendance in Delhi every day. Since the announcement of polls I don’t think he has spent more than four days in Punjab.”
“Whenever temperature rises in Punjab, Captain runs back to Delhi. But this time people of Punjab have made their mind to knock out these old opportunistic politicians,” he added.
Sukhbir slammed Manpreet Badal, who is contesting the Lok Sabha elections against Harsimrat Badal from Bathinda on the Congress’ symbol, for ditching people. Earlier, before filing his papers, Dhindsa told mediapersons that the contest in Sangrur is between the SAD and Congress and AAP candidate Bhagwant Mann stands nowhere.
