“Character limit should be 1000, but only show the first 280 on timeline with a “… (show more)” to indicate the tweet is longer. When tapped, expand the entire tweet. Musk had promised sweeping changes when he took over the social media giant last month.

On Sunday, the tech billionaire shared slides from the Twitter company talk where he said the social media giant is hiring. “We’re recruiting,” the slide read with no further information. This came days after sweeping job reductions at Twitter in a cost-cutting drive since Musk took over.
