Delhi breathes cleanest air in five months, records sharp drop in pollution

Delhi logged an Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 119 (moderate), according to the Central Pollution Control Board’s national bulletin at 4 pm, on Thursday.

Delhi has cleanest winter in 5 years, but is most polluted city in NCR: Study

The winter season is the most polluted time of the year, with unfavourable meteorological conditions trapping pollutants close to the surface, including calm winds, low temperature and fog.

Delhi continues to remain the most polluted among the cities and towns of NCR.
