Light rain cleans up air, AQI improves to ‘poor’ in Noida, Greater Noida

PMC serves notice to 124 developers for non-compliance with air pollution norms

The Pune Municipal Corporation has served notices to 124 developers for not complying with guidelines to contain air pollution in the city. The developers have been asked to submit a report on the measures they have taken. The Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) Pune chapter has assured cooperation with the PMC and has asked its members to take steps to control air pollution. The PMC clarified that no builder has been asked to stop work so far. The move comes as major cities in India are facing deteriorating air quality.
