Punjab Police arrested two key shooters, members of the Arsh Dalla gang, from Kharar on Saturday, a month after Gurpreet Singh, alias Bhodi, a Kotkapura-based Sikh activist, was shot dead by four assailants at Hari Nau village in Faridkot district
Faridkot senior superintendent of police Pragya Jain said they have received fresh leads regarding the whereabouts of the shooters and they would be arrested soon
The four individuals have been identified as Lakhwinder Singh from Haibowal village in Hoshiarpur, Amritpal’s associate Gurbhej Singh from Gudara village in Ferozepur, Satinder Singh alias Kala from Palahi village in Hoshiarpur, and Bharat alias Bhau from Barar Mohalla in Tarn Taran
Gurpreet Singh was shot dead on October 9. The police claimed to have solved the murder case with the arrest of three members of the gang led by Arshdeep Singh Dalla, a designated terrorist.
