Breast MRI is effective in detecting cancer: Research

According to a study published in Radiology, a journal of the Radiological Society of North America, breast MRI was more effective at finding breast cancer in women with dense breasts than other standard supplemental screening techniques (RSNA).

Women are more likely to develop cancer in both breast: Research

According to a study led by the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center, women who have breast cancer in one breast may be more likely to get cancer in the other breast if they had particular genetic abnormalities that make them more likely to get breast cancer.
