The Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police recovered a Chinese drone and two Glock pistols during a joint search operation near Khalra village falling under the Bhikhiwind sub-division of the border district of Tarn Taran
The drone was seized from Rana Panj Grain village around 7.45 am after a search operation was launched in the area on specific information regarding the presence of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.
The first incident took place around 8am when BSF personnel patrolling near Roranwala Khurd village in Amritsar found a drone and a packet of narcotics, suspected to be heroin, wrapped in yellow adhesive tape, in a field near the international border. The recovered drone is a Quadcopter, DJI Mavic 3 Classic, made in China,” said a BSF spokesperson.
