Cold wave conditions over northwest, central India to abate: IMD

The northwest, east and northeast India will witness a wet spell from February 2 to 4, the India Meteorological Department said in its forecast.

Punjab, UP to see severe cold wave in 24 hrs; rain in Delhi as Feb arrives: IMD

Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana will witness surface winds between 15-25kmph starting January 29 and will continue till February 1. Meanwhile, eastern states of West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand will receive rainfall with the possibility of hailstorms between February 2 and 4.

IMD alerts: Severe cold wave, rainfall and snowfall in these states till Feb 4

The latest IMD bulletin said that there will no significant change in the minimum temperatures over northwest India till January 30. Meanwhile, most parts of northeast India and some southern states will see heavy rainfall till February 1.
