Donald Trump served as the 45th President of the United States from 2017 to 2021. He is also a prominent American businessman with assets worth $4billion, and a former TV personality known for his famous TV show Apprentice. He is contesting the US presidential election from Republican party against Democratic Party's Kamala Harris. Trump was born in Queens, New York, in 1946, and rose to national prominence as a real estate mogul and reality TV star before entering politics.

Trump is married to Melania Trump, and prior to that to Marla Maples from 1993–1999 and Ivana Trump from 1977–1990. His children's names are- Barron Trump, Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Tiffany Trump, and Eric Trump.

During his presidency Trump implemented tax reforms, focused on deregulation, and pursued an "America First" foreign policy, withdrawing from international agreements such as the Paris Climate Accord. His administration also introduced conservative judges to the Supreme Court, which reshaped the judicial landscape of the US. His handling of the COVID-19 pandemic costed him the 2020 election, alongwith his response to racial justice protests. Trump was impeached twice by the House of Representatives—the first president in U.S. history to face such a distinction—though he was acquitted by the Senate both times.

Trump, nicknamed Teflon Don, has been one of the most controversial presidents of US and is claimed to have a remarkable ability to survive scandals. 78-year-old is the first former president in US history to be criminally convicted for falsifying business records in the infamous hush money trial. However, he won partial immunity for charges of overturning the 2020 election result. He has had multiple wives, and sordid affairs, even with prostitutes. He has also faced severe criticism for sexist and racist remarks. He's been charged with four criminal counts, including conspiracy to defraud the US and conspiracy against the rights of citizens. His sentencing has been postponed to after the election results where he will have the power pardon himself, if voted to power.
