Two get 7 years in jail for robbing executive in Gurugram

Two men sentenced to seven years in jail for robbing a private company executive of ?10 lakh in Sector 14, Gurugram. A fine of ?10,000 each was imposed.

PMC impose 9 cr fine on garbage contractor

The weight of the garbage in each vehicle was not mentioned at the ramp, many vehicles did not have an active GPS to locate the vehicle route and distance. Even some vehicles did not have insurance documents

Irrigation dept slaps 507 cr fine on PMC for polluting Mula-Mutha

The irrigation department in its communication has pointed out that one of the major reasons for the pollution of the Mula and Mutha rivers is the discharge of untreated domestic wastewater into the river due to inadequate sewerage systems

Under the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) project, the PMC is committed to constructing 11 new sewage treatment plants (STPs) in different parts of the city. Currently, the city generates 744 million litres per day (MLD) of sewage and treats 550 MLD. (HT FILE PHOTO)
