FDA raids juice centre where frozen rat was found in ice block

FDA has issued a “stop activity” notice to the vendor running the food facility for the past four years sans licences as per the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, and Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011

Global fast-food chain restaurants, outlets in Pune found violating safety norms

FDA launched a drive inspecting 529 food businesses in Pune after a popular global food chain in Ahmednagar used cheese analogues without disclosure.

The drive started in October last year covered 529 food business operators (FBO) in Pune region (Pune, Satara, Kolhapur, Solapur, and Sangli district). The outlets were inspected for compliance with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (REPRESENTATIVE PHOTO)
