Himachal to get hi-tech testing labs: Shandil

Shandil stated this while chairing the meeting of the Cabinet sub-committee to work out the modalities for reviewing and strengthening of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) in the state. Technical education minister Rajesh Dharmani and Ayush minister Yadvinder Goma were also present in the meeting.

Health minister Dhani Ram Shandil said here today that hi-tech testing labs would be established across the state and existing labs would be strengthened to perform high volume tests. (Sourced)

Kerala ragging horror: Nursing college principal, assistant professor suspended

Principal Sulekha A T and assistant warden Ajeesh P Mani were suspended for failing to address ragging incidents at a nursing college.

In relation to the matter of the violent ragging event in a student residence that caused a great deal of public outrage throughout the state, the principal and an assistant professor of the Government College of Nursing, Kottayam, have been suspended.(PTI)
