The police officer was suspended in February 2019 in connection with police firing on anti-sacrilege protesters at Kotkapura in the aftermath of the alleged sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib in Bargari in 2015. His suspension was quashed by the court in February this year.
The Sikh body has filed a public interest litigation (PIL) in the high court claiming that the movie is detrimental to the interest of society, the petitioner’s counsel, senior advocate NS Ruprah, said.
The matter had originated in July after owners of a plot in Nagli Wazidpur village started constructing a building. And the Noida authority objected to it
