Farmers wait in queues to sell mustard crop in Bhiwani, Hisar

The government has announced a minimum support price (MSP) for mustard at ₹5,650 per quintal for this season and the price in the open market is hovering between ₹4,700 and ₹4,900 per quintal. The government is procuring mustard through HAFED and HSWC. As many as 106 purchase centres have been set up across the state to initiate the procurement process.

Haryana: 12-yr-old boy kills self after exam didn’t go well

Hisar police spokesman Vikas Kumar said that the incident happened on Wednesday night when the boy was alone in his room on the first floor and his mother and grandmother were doing household work on the ground floor

The victim was a Class 6 student.
