Bengaluru student dies by suicide after falling victim to cyber fraud: Report

A 20-year-old student in Bengaluru, identified as Pavana, tragically took her own life in her hostel room after allegedly losing money in a cyber scam.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Pavana had borrowed <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>15,000 from her friends and managed to return <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>10,000.

256-room hostel for doctors coming up at PGIMER Chandigarh

The proposal for the fourth hostel was approved after an agenda for the “Construction of the doctor hostel block at PGIMER” was tabled in a meeting of the Standing Finance Committee (SFC) in April.

Accommodation issue for medical students to be resolved soon, Mohali DC assures AIMS director
