GMDA proposal to build bus depot in Sector 65 stuck over land transfer

The authority has now asked the HSVP to provide land at any other alternative location nearby so that the bus depot can be constructed. GMDA officials said that they plan to build nine such depots across Gurugram to expand the city’s bus service. The authority plans to have 1,025 buses by 2031

Panchkula: HSVP fined for failing to repair sewer line

The district consumer disputes redressal commission directed HSVP to pay ₹70,400 (amount spent on repair) along with 9% interest, besides ₹10,000 on account of mental agony and harassment and ₹5,500 as litigation charges to Tara Devi Jain, the complainant, for failing to repair the sewer lines in Sector 4, Panchkula

Panchkula: Bushfire spreads to Sector-23 dumping yard

The fire initially broke out in the six acre vacant land of HSVP and soon the flames had engulfed four more acres; After some time the fire had spread to the dumping ground; Fire fighters had a tough time controlling the blaze due to presence of excess plastic

NCRTC seeks land to set up concrete plant for RRTS line

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has requested 1.81 hectares of land near the Delhi Gurugram Expressway to set up a concrete batching and mixing plant for the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project. The plant will be used for casting girders and tunnel segments. The proposed land requisition is currently under consideration. The RRTS corridor will be constructed in three phases, with the first phase connecting Delhi to Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror. The project is awaiting approval from the central government.
