NIA conducts raids at 62 places in Andhra and Telangana; one held

According to the NIA statement, the multiple raids led to the arrest of Chandra Narasimhulu, a state executive committee member of the Pragathiseela Karmika Samakhya (PKS) from Andhra Pradesh’s Satya Sai district.

Andhra cop attacked by inebriated man succumbs to injuries

A police constable in Andhra Pradesh died after being attacked by a drunk man during a Ganesh idol immersion ceremony. The suspect has been arrested.

KCR again skips PM’s event in Telangana; BRS hits out at Centre

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, also known as KCR, skipped Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public program in the state. The ruling party in Telangana criticized the central government's alleged apathy towards the Palamuru irrigation project. The Prime Minister was in Telangana to launch various developmental projects. Assembly elections are due to be held in Telangana this year.
