Centre hikes interest rates on small savings schemes for July-September quarter

The government reviews the interest rates on small savings schemes every quarter.

The Centre on Friday raised the interest rate on small savings schemes for July-September quarter by 10-30 basis points and now range from 4 per cent to 8.2 per cent.

US small businesses face worst credit in a decade after SVB collapse

The collapse of four banks in March, most notably Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, prompted many lenders to tighten standards on business loans.
