HC junks petition challenging refusal of registration of FIR against dy CM Maurya

Justice Samit Gopal dismissed the delay condonation application filed alongwith criminal revision petition by one Diwakar Nath Tripathi, requesting the court to set aside an order passed by the ACJM on September 4, 2021 by which the ACJM had refused registration of an FIR against deputy CM Maurya.

34.72 lakh houses allotted in U.P.under PMAY-G since 2016-17: Dy CM Maurya

Uttar Pradesh has completed the construction of 29.68 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, making it the first state in India to achieve the target. The scheme aims to provide pucca houses to all homeless and dilapidated families by 2024. The houses are allotted based on the Socio-Economic Caste Census-2011, and beneficiaries receive financial assistance through the Public Financial Management System. The state has also received awards for its work under the scheme.

In Prayagraj, U.P. deputy CM Maurya launches 347 projects worth 52 cr

UP deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath understand the sufferings of the poor and are dedicated to their progress. The poor and backward are being taken care of in every welfare scheme so that they can develop and progress while joining the mainstream. Maurya inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 347 projects worth around ₹52 crore to be implemented by the rural development department. He also handed over the keys of houses to 30 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (rural) and 20 beneficiaries of Chief Minister Awas Yojana.

U.P.: New Varanasi mayor vows to improve city’s cleanliness

Newly-elected Varanasi mayor Ashok Tiwari took oath in Sanskrit, along with two corporators, in the presence of deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya. Four Muslim women took oath in Urdu, while the remaining corporators took oath in Hindi. The deputy CM congratulated Tiwari and all corporators and emphasized on the need for cleanliness and promptness in public interest. Tiwari promised to improve the city's cleanliness and strengthen the lighting system while relieving the city from traffic jams.

BJP's Umesh Chandra Ganesh Kesarwani took oath as the new mayor of Prayagraj along with 100 newly elected corporators of Prayagraj Municipal Corporation.
