Delay mars medicine supply to patients, staff at KGMU
In a letter to V-C, KGMU teachers’ association complained of delays in obtaining medicines under the ‘local purchase’ system, under which the hospital buys medicines not available in its pharmacies for patients and staff.

KGMU docs perform 2 liver transplants in 24 hours
Doctors at King George's Medical University in Lucknow, India, have performed two liver transplants within 24 hours, one from a living donor and the other from a brain-dead patient. This is the first time such transplants have been done in the state of Uttar Pradesh in such a short period. So far, a total of 30 liver transplants have been performed at the hospital.
