Kiara Advani was born in Bombay, Maharashtra. She was only 8 when she first appeared in front of the camera in a 1993 TV commercial with her mother, Genevieve Advani.She made her acting debut with Fugly in 2014. She got recognition with her roles in films like Kabir Singh, Good Newwz, Shershaah, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Jug Jug Jeeyo. She also starred with Telugu star Mahesh Babu in her Telugu debut film, Bharat Ane Nenu. She also made a guest appearance in the film, Kalank, produced by Karan Johar.

Kiara Advani is set to debut in Kannada cinema with Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. The release date was announced by Yash.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is being shot in both Kannada and English.
