Born on September 17, 1950, Narendra Modi's association with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh started at the age of eight. In 1971, Modi became a full-time worker of the RSS and rose through the ranks. In 2016, PM Modi announced demonetisation banning the currency of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 in his fight against black money. In 2019, the special status of Jammu and Kashmir was revoked and the state was made a Union Territory. This two remain the most significant moves taken by PM Modi.
