Officials said chief minister Nitish Kumar, during his aerial survey, took stock of blocks affected by deficient rains like Deo , Madanapur in Aurangabad, Barachatti, Imamganj in Gaya, Rajouli in Nawada, Islampur in Jamui and other few blocks where paddy coverage has been below normal.
According to leader of opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha, who led an 11-member BJP team to Bihar Sharif, they were stopped from visiting the house of one Gulshan, who had died of bullet wounds sustained during the violence.
