The Janjati Suraksha Manch, a tribal organisation backed by the RSS, held a rally in Mumbai demanding delisting of tribals who had converted to other religions. They claim that those who do not follow tribal culture, customs, and traditions should not have access to reservations. Similar rallies are planned in other parts of the state.
Deepender Hooda on Sunday said the Haryana Congress will hold a rally on December 17 in Sirsa to remember 750 farmer-labourers who lost their lives in the farmers’ agitation against the three contentious farm laws.
This will be Shah’s seventh visit to the state since chief minister Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) exited the BJP-led NDA and tied up with RJD and Congress to form Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar in August last year.
