‘Sexual harassment’ allegations: Need more time to question all Jind women cops, says probe officer

Haryana State Commission for Women’s chairperson Renu Bhatia had on Sunday directed director general of police and Fatehabad SP to appear before the commission on October 29 and submit their report.

Statements of 38 women cops have been recorded so far. The police will record statements of all 142 women cops in Jind district besides those who have been transferred from the district in the past few months.

15-year-old girl ‘sexually harassed’ by juvenile schoolmates in UP

The girl's family filed a complaint and alleged that she was sexually harassed by the duo. They tried to kill her but she managed to escape, police said.

Suspended Moga cop accuses senior of sexual harassment

Posted as the station house officer of Kot Ise Khan police station in Moga district, Arshpreet Kaur Grewal, along with two police officials, was booked on October 23 under the Prevention of Corruption Act for allegedly accepting bribe from two drug peddlers for excluding their names from an FIR after 2-kg opium was reportedly seized from them

Moga SSP Ajay Gandhi did not respond to phone calls and text messages regarding the allegations.
