Punjab govt to consider banning Kangana’s film if needed: Hayer

Sikh delegation objects to installation of KCF chief Panjwar’s portrait

On July 13 this year, Akal Takht jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh asked the gurdwara body to put up portraits of slain Khalistani activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, Panjwar and pro-Khalistan leader Gajinder Singh, who recently died in Pakistan, at the Golden Temple museum. Sikh hardliners are divided over this issue.

Nishan Sahib at gurdwaras to be blue or yellow

Following the edict of the Akal Takht, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) is all set to ensure that the Nishan Sahib flags, hoisted on the premises of gurdwaras, carry either surmai (navy blue) or basanti (a shade of yellow) colours.
