Congress MLA slams Khattar over bogus voting allegations

Reacting to allegations made by Khattar at a briefing in Gurugram, Batra who is the Congress MLA from Rohtak said that the former CM is speaking “blatant lies” as the BJP is in a panic mode after the May 25 polling in the state. Batra alleged that BJP candidates themselves entered the booths and tried to influence the voters on the election day.

Sirsa: Cong vs BJP: After poll day scuffle, cross-FIRs registered

As per the information, the incident occurred on May 25 after the Congress leader Naveen Kedia and his son Naman received information that BJP candidate Tanwar’s wife Avantika and her supporters were distributing money outside the polling booth at Jain School in Sirsa city

Kumari Selja, who held a rally in Raipur Rani block of Panchkula seeking votes for Congress candidate from Ambala Varun Chaudhary, said, “We are winning both the seats, Sirsa and Ambala. You will get two MPs.”
