Activists oppose PMC’s decision to implement time limit to avail benefits of health scheme

A time limit of only the first four months of the financial year (April to July, 2024) has been implemented by the PMC health department for availing the benefits of the UPHS

The PMC initiated the UPHS a decade ago with the aim of providing free or discounted medical treatment to the economically weaker section at affiliated hospitals. The scheme was previously limited to citizens with an annual income of <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>1 lakh but it was later expanded to cover citizens with an annual income of <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>2 lakh in 2019. UP Board results: Students can apply for scrutiny till May 19

UP Board's headquarters and regional offices in Prayagraj, Meerut, Varanasi, Bareilly, and Gorakhpur will reopen on Monday, allowing students to report any anomalies or problems in their high school and intermediate exam results. Students can apply online for scrutiny until May 19 and pay a fee of ₹500 per question paper for the written and practical section.
