Ramgarh lake, the once neglected water body, has now been transformed into an attractive tourist point in eastern Uttar Pradesh as per the dream of the chief minister, with a water sports complex, cruise and water biking facilities. Soon, tourists would also get to enjoy meals in the floating restaurant.
The state tourism department on Saturday released figures of tourists arriving in the state in the first six months of the year, pointing out that around 33 crore tourists visited the state in this period. Ayodhya topped the list with 10.99 crore tourists, including 2,851 foreigners, visiting the temple town.
