Wadhawan brothers’ plea to make video calls to family rejected

A special court in Mumbai has rejected a plea by DHFL promoters Kapil and Dheeraj Wadhawan to allow them to video conference with their family members twice a day. The Wadhawan brothers are currently in jail in connection with a bank loan scam case. The court stated that allowing video calls would interfere with jail administration and hamper further investigation.

Family of three from Jind stuck in strife-hit Sudan

Aman Gupta, 31, who is stuck in the strife-hit city, with his wife Dixita Gupta, 29, and two-year-old daughter, in a video conference with the Hindustan Times Correspondent revealed that they are cooped up inside their house amid a constant threat of bombings and firing.
