All ‘bad’ things come to an end. That is the summary of one of the most popular TV series, Breaking Bad which aired its final episode on Sunday.

The show which ran for 5 seasons, saw its culmination with Walter White (Bryan Cranston) dying in his meth lab, with a smile on his face. Since incepted in 2008, the Vince Gilligan created crime drama series has won a host of awards which include three consecutive wins for Best Actor (Bryan Cranston), two wins for Best Supporting Actor for (Aaron Paul), a one win for Best Supporting Actress (Anna Gun) and also the Outstanding Drama series in the recently concluded Emmy awards.

Epic Series!”Emma Gibbon, an avid follower of the series wrote on her twitter page, “Admittedly I wasn’t sure it would be for me, but it turned out to be the best show I've ever seen and what a way to end it.”

Memorable 5 from 5 seasons

Season 1 Pilot: The first episode in the season shows Walter White’s inconsequential life and the first hints of Heisenberg.Walt, after learning that he is suffering from lung cancer with just a few years to live, gets hooked onto the meth business and enlists Jesse (Aaron Paul) as his first cook. The episode thus sets the skeleton for the rest of the series to derive shape from and build the characters of Walt and Jesse.

Season 2, Episode 12, Phoenix:
As pointed out by a lot of fans this is the epsode where Walt loses his soul. In this episode, Jane gets to know that Walt owes Jesse a large sum of money and eventually blackmails Walt into delivering the amount. Walt, then reaches Jesse’s home where he tries to prevent Jane from choking on her own vomit. It is exactly at this particular moment when Walt goes into a crisis and loses his ‘soul’.

Season 3, Episode 12, Half Measures:
As the title suggests, Jesse is left in the middle of nowhere complying with his own decisions. At first Jesse plots the murder of the drug dealers but later conciles to end the fued with a meeting . Second, after Jesse learns that Tomas has been killed, he goes again to shoot the dealers, but Walt runs them over first with his car. Walt later tells Jesse to “run”. This is one of the most shocking moments in the history of the crime-drama series.

Season 4 Episode 11, Crawl Space:
It’s Gus’ (Giancarlo Esposito) amazing “I will kill your wife, I will kill your son, I will kill your infant daughter” speech that makes it one of the most memorable episodes in the Breaking Bad series. Jesse threatens that he will stop cooking meth if Walt is killed. Later, Gus threatens Walt’s family to get his money back. Walt’s quirky laughter resembling
that of a mad man in crawl space, is more than enough to push this episode as one of the best in the series.

Season 5, Episode 16, Felina:
Final episode and it is the smile on Walt’s face that seals the series. Prior to this, a heavily wounded Walt pleades Jesse to kill him. Jesse refuses to grant him his wish, not wanting Walt to die on his own terms. The finishing set of dialouges between Walt and Jesse, the action packed scene where Walt tackles Jesse to kill Aryan Brotherhood and the scene where Walt breathes his last with his equipment, even as the cops arrive on the spot, is going to stay with the fans for some more lingering moments.
