CM Arvind Kejriwal on Bigg Boss 8: our wish list for next season
Here are the famous five who Bigg Boss should bring into the house in 2014 to send the TRPs soaring for a show that rides high on controversies and publicity.
Salman Khan has said Season 7 might be his last as the host of the reality show. He is non-committal, but we want the Dabangg Khan to continue on the show with his merry ways.
Here’s our wish list for Season 8 of the show that always introduces us to wannabes and controversial figures.
Arvind Kejriwal
Why: He is a promising leader and has brought a change in the way politics is perceived in the country. Kejriwal is not in need of publicity, but it sure will be fun to watch the activist-politician in as taxing an environment as the Bigg Boss house. In becoming Delhi’s youngest chief minister, Kejriwal has shown he can handle mind games. Would be interesting to see if the rest of the contestants can handle him.
S Sreesanth
Why: The IPL spot-fixing scandal has blighted the career of the pace bowler who had a peach of an outswinger. He had a torrid 2013 professionally, but has salvaged a bit in the personal space by getting married. He is banned from the game he loves, he is emotional (Slapgate: when Sreesanth’s tears flowed.), opinionated and has got dances moves as well.
Overall, a pretty combustible combination. Alone in the house without gadgets and contact with the outside world could bring out a side the audience will lap up.
Raghu Ram
Why: The MTV Roadies host has all the abuses in his vocabulary and the fighting spirit to be in the house. He will provoke people, trigger fights and give back as good as he gets and then some more. Raghu fits the bill. We wonder why he hasn’t already been on the show!
Uday Chopra
Why: Okay, we agree he is not entertaining. But he has tried all his luck. The guy even tweeted about retiring from acting! He could use this show to showcase himself. We are sure he could do something like Aijaz Khan’s attempts at entertaining the audience. Kya Mummy! Of course, his presence will bring in a bit of history — his with Tanisha — into Season 8.
Digvijaya Singh
Why: The Congress general secretary excels at mouthing the most controversial of remarks. Few escape his jibes. He attracts the most hostile of reactions, but is never bogged down. Watching him facing some snide comments in the Bigg Boss house would be fun. Make no mistake, he is a seasoned politician and his comebacks could be legendary.
